A Bit About Me

My first horseback experience was atop a beautiful gray quarter horse, my mom’s horse, Ivory.  From that lovely day when I was just three years old sprang a life long love affair with these amazing, beautiful creatures.  My early “formal training” was in jumping and dressage, but in my teen years I dabbled in the western disciplines, finding my thrills in reining and ultimately discovering my niche in the all-around arena.

The American Quarter Horse is the breed that has captured my heart, no doubt because of my early teacher, Ivory, but I have enjoyed playing with everything from BLM Donkeys and Mustangs to Thoroughbreds to Arabians to Warmbloods, and I’m so grateful for the variety of experiences I’ve had the opportunity to explore.

In college I studied Sports Medicine and I am a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) with the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA).  I love the human body. I think it is amazing and I do believe that few people ever really explore their capabilities or push themselves far enough to know how strong they are capable of becoming.

I’ve combined my knowledge and penchant for horses, riding, and competition with my fascination of the body and my passion for working with people to form my current business of providing specialized Strength Training and Body Conditioning for the Equestrian.

I also had the opportunity to write an exercise series for Current Health Magazine, occurring in September, November, February, March and April, and would like to continue writing submissions for various publications.

  1. As Tiffany’s mom, I can verify that she had a gift for riding from the very early years. The grey mare mentioned was a great learning mare but was a bit demanding of her own way at times. I have a picture in my mind of Tiffany attempting to ride Ivory away from the home area for a very short trail ride up the road. She was about 5 at that time and tiny up on this big mare. Ivory kept arguing with her about going out and kept turning around for home. Tiffany would pierce her lips together in determination and pull Ivory’s head around toward the road. This happened again and again until Tiffany finally won and they went for a trail ride about 40 feet up the road and Tiffany turned her around. I knew at that time that she had it in her to be a great rider!

  2. Tiff, Great site! Keep it up

  3. Love it Tiffany……the video imagery is fabulous and I think you should produce more learning videos.
